Demonstration on stem application and installation of yellow sticky traps in cotton fields of Adopted village on 01.09.2022

Village adoption team has observed sucking pests like leafhoppers, aphids, thrips and whiteflies in and around the cotton fields of an adopted village of Agricultural College Warangal. Hence, for effective management of sucking pests village adoption team has organized a method demonstration on stem application in cotton on 01.09.2022 at adopted village, Kothapeta. Dr. Anusha, Assistant prof (Ento) has addressed the farmers regarding importance of Integrated Pest Management (IPM) in Cotton field. Later, method demonstration on stem application in cotton is conducted with Imidacloprid and water at the rate of 1:20 and installed yellow sticky traps in Sri Gurram Kishore field for management of sucking pests.
